Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between your business and Amplifire Solutions ("we", "us"), which makes Counterslate. By installing or using Counterslate you agree to them on behalf of your business.
The service
Counterslate shows menu boards on your TVs using items, prices, categories and availability read from your point-of-sale system (today, Clover). It needs an internet connection on each TV and a device with a web browser. Counterslate only reads your inventory; it does not change anything in your POS.
Your account
You are responsible for the devices you connect and for keeping your setup page sign-in private. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account.
Your content and data
Your menu data and anything you add (board names, notes, images) stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to run Counterslate for you. You are responsible for what your boards show, including prices and allergy or legal notices. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Price, trial and cancelling
Counterslate costs $10 per screen, per month. Your first screen is free for the first 30 days. After that, every screen is $10 a month. No contract. Cancel any time. If you cancel, your screens stop showing boards at the end of the period you've paid for. Fair use
Don't use Counterslate to break the law, to show content you don't have the right to show, or to interfere with the service or other customers.
Availability
We work to keep Counterslate running, but it depends on the internet, on your TVs and devices, and on your POS provider. The service is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for Counterslate in the three months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes before they take effect. You can stop using Counterslate at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
