Fire TV menu board
A menu board on any TV, with a $30 Fire TV Stick.
You don't need a special media player. A Fire TV Stick plugged into the TV you already have, plus its web browser, is enough to run a Counterslate menu board.
How to set it up
- Plug the Fire TV Stick into the TV and connect it to your Wi-Fi.
- Open the Silk browser and go to counterslate.onrender.com/display. The TV shows a 6-letter code. Bookmark the page.
- On your phone, open the Counterslate setup page, type the code and pick the board for that TV.
Good to know
- Counterslate runs in the browser, so there's no app to install on the Fire TV.
- The TV remembers its pairing. If it's turned off, open the bookmark again and the board comes back.
- Not using Fire TV? Any device with a web browser works: a smart TV's browser, a small computer or a laptop.
The menu itself comes from your Clover items and prices, so changes you make in Clover show up on the TV.
